• Fully dressed, Simon headed back down the stairs, and re-entered the living room. It was a lot less crowded now. Simon wondered how many people were upstairs, making the most of their first college party in Gemma's various bedrooms.
• He glanced out the window, and realised for the first time that Gemma's garden had a pool in it. Several people were in the water, and a few more were sitting in swimwear on a couple of poolside deckchairs, chatting. One pair of girls were entwined in each other's arms on a chair to one side, passionately making out. It didn't look like their bikinis were going to stay on for long.
